The Smithies Lapidary

Project Brief:
This project orientated around the Occupancy that was assigned to each student. I was given a Goldsmith's. For this task, we were given 3 main stages to follow:
Wrap - understanding the clients needs and executing a design that follows or "wraps" around those needs.
Mediate - creating the spacial qualities and atmospheres that are needed for the space meaning the user has control over their environment in order to work efficiently.
Situate - focus drawn to the surrounding context of the site and making conscious decision to respond to those characteristics in a way that best benefits the user.
